SELECTED EXHIBITOR

NY11+ was founded in 1997 by Ruth Lynford, FASID, CID, AIA Assoc., as an exhibition of work from prestigious New York State educational institutions, all offering programs in Interior Design of four-years or more. The exhibition has raised awareness of the complexity and responsibilities of the interior design profession as it applies to the health, safety and welfare of the public.

The 2019 ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the Teknion showroom, located at 641 6th Avenue, 2nd floor. Immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony, a short panel presentation featured experts who discussed wellness design as it relates to both LEED and WELL Building Standards.

Participating NY11+ schools include Buffalo State College, Cazenovia College, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Technology, New York School of Interior Design, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology, Sage College of Albany, School of Visual Arts, Syracuse University and Villa Maria College.
